Kenya September Financial Support and Impact Report

10/20/26 10:19:am

I would like to share a brief report on the financial support that was received and distributed during the month of September, together with some feedback from those who benefited from the assistance.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of Mother Hen Foundation. The support has made a meaningful difference in the lives and ministries of several people, meeting very practical needs at important moments.

1. Benard Shisia – Uganda

Amount received: £25

PoshoThe first person I heard from was Benard Shisia from Uganda, who received £25 from Mother Hen Foundation.

At the time he received the money, Benard was on the verge of going without food. He is a pastor serving in a local church in a village in Eastern Uganda and has a large family to care for.

The £25 enabled him to purchase posho, a staple local food, in an amount sufficient to provide food for his family for approximately two weeks.

This assistance came at a very critical time and brought immediate relief to Benard and his family.

2. Rev. Samuel Kiobo – Migori, Kenya

Amount received: £460

The second person I heard from was Rev. Samuel Kiobo, who ministers in Migori, near the Kenya–Tanzania border.

Rev. Kiobo received £460, which was specifically used for the purchase of Bibles for ministry.

With the funds, he was able to purchase 30 Swahili Bibles. These Bibles will be used to support his ministry and help make God's Word available to people in the local community.

We are thankful that the financial support was able to be directed toward a tangible ministry need and provide resources that can continue to serve people beyond the initial gift.

3. Reuben Koech – Kericho, Kenya

Amount received: £25

Support was also given to Reuben Koech in Kericho, who received £25 to assist him in his ministry.

Reuben ministers among widows and orphans, serving people who are often in particularly vulnerable circumstances. The financial assistance helped him with the practical needs connected to this ministry.

Although the amount was modest, it provided encouragement and practical support for the work he is doing among these families.

4. Minister Emmanuel – Uganda

Amount received: £200

Another person who received support was Emmanuel from Uganda, a young man carrying significant responsibilities while pursuing his education.

Emmanuel is a guardian to several of his siblings. At the same time, he serves as a Sunday school teacher and is a university student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Education.

He received £200 toward his university school fees. This support has helped him continue his studies while carrying his responsibilities toward his younger siblings and serving in his local church.

Dear Mother Hen Foundation and Dear Momma Guy Geraldine,

Greetings to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

I honestly do not know if words can fully express how grateful I am for what you have done for me. But from the deepest part of my heart, I want to say thank you.

Momma Guy Geraldine, thank you so much for your generous support towards my university tuition through Mother Hen Foundation. Your kindness came at a time when I truly needed support, and it meant much more to me than just help with tuition. It gave me hope, peace of mind, and the strength to keep moving forward with my education.

There are moments in life when someone’s kindness becomes a reminder that you are not walking alone. Your support has been one of those moments for me. Knowing that someone is willing to believe in my education and invest in my future is something I will never take for granted.

I am deeply touched that you chose to stand with me in this part of my journey. What you have done may be a simple act of generosity to you, but to me, it carries a much deeper meaning. It has helped me continue pursuing my studies and has brought me one step closer to the future I am working and praying for.

I also want to sincerely appreciate Mother Hen Foundation for being a channel through which this blessing reached me. Thank you for caring, supporting, and standing with students who need encouragement along their educational journey.

Momma Guy Geraldine, thank you for believing in me even though you may not know everything about my journey. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to keep going. I will always remember this kindness.

My prayer is that the same way you have been a blessing to me, God will surround you with blessings, favor, good health, peace, and people who will stand with you whenever you need them. May God reward your generosity far beyond what I can ever give back.

I may not be able to repay you for what you have done, but I promise to value this opportunity, work hard, and continue pursuing my education with determination.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for supporting my education. And thank you for being part of my journey.

May God richly bless you, Momma Guy Geraldine, and may He continue to bless Mother Hen Foundation abundantly.

With deepest gratitude, love, and prayers, Emmanuel.

5. Pastor Juma – Uganda

Amount received: £150

I also received and disbursed £150 to Pastor Juma in Uganda.

Of this amount, £125 was designated as monthly educational support for two children. This contribution helps meet their ongoing educational needs and enables them to continue with their schooling.

The remaining £25 was given to support a widow named Jocelyne, providing practical assistance to her during a time when she needed support.

6. Administrative Allowance and Personal Renewal

Amount received: £40

Pastor Dickson Family breakAs the Kenyan and Ugandan administrator, I also received my monthly administrative allowance of £40.

This allowance provided an opportunity to take a short break from what has been a very busy schedule involving ministry, family business, and other community responsibilities. I was able to use the opportunity to spend some quality time with my wife away from the noise and demands of the city.

One particularly memorable part of the time was taking a ride on the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) train. This was something my wife had always wished to experience, and it was a joy to be able to do it together.

More than simply being a break, the time gave us an opportunity to reconnect, rest, and enjoy one another's company. It was a wonderful time of bonding and renewal.

I am grateful for the provision of this administrative allowance, which not only helps with the responsibilities connected to administration but also provided an opportunity for much-needed personal and family renewal.

Closing

The September support from Mother Hen Foundation reached people with a variety of practical needs: providing food to a family, supplying Bibles for ministry, supporting work among widows and orphans, helping a young person continue his university education, supporting the education of two children, assisting a widow, and providing administrative support that also allowed for a short period of personal and family renewal.

I am sincerely grateful to Mother Hen Foundation for making this assistance possible. Every contribution has served a practical purpose, and it is encouraging to see the difference the support is making in the lives of individuals, families, and ministries.

Thank you for your continued generosity, trust, and commitment to helping people and supporting ministry in Kenya and Uganda.

With sincere gratitude,

d.m.

Pastor. Dickson Mutashe
