Who we are
Mother Hen Foundation was initiated by Lockdown. Zohaib Khokar, a Christian student in Pakistan, and Helen Morris became friends on Facebook. From this friendship grew encouragement and prayers amongst others who joined in Pakistan, Kenya, Uganda and the Philippines. A WhatsApp group was formed in September 16th 2021 linking people of different clocks and continents, but of the same Christian faith.
Saoud Yasir - Teaching Administrator for MHF, Bible Teacher in remote areas of Pakistan, Hospital worker, receiving sponsorship for training to be an Operating Theatre Technician.
Saoud from Pakistan asked Helen to help with Bible teaching for remote villagers without church support. Mother Hen Teaching was born, expressing the desire of Jesus who wanted to gather His people ‘as a mother hen gathered her chicks’.* *Luke 13:34
We realised that practical and financial support was needed, so Mother Hen Foundation was formed with trustees, a bank account, and a website. Our trustees are Reverend David Howell (Rector of our parish), Mrs Elaine Venning, Richard Barnes and Chris Morris. Helen Morris is CEO and Treasurer.

Reverend David Howell
Reverend David Howell is the Rector of Ariconium Benefice and has been and enthusiastic patron of Mother Hen Foundation since its inception. He hosted the Launch Party last May and is a Trustee.
Chris Morris
Chris Morris is enthusiastic about cars, dogs and beer. He is a great supporter and trustee of Mother Hen Foundation, supporting Helen with practical wisdom, paper work and decision making.

Elaine Venning is Prayer Partner, Will writer, Trustee of Mother Hen Foundation and generous Sponsor.
Richard Barnes
Richard Barnes runs Litchfield Morris design agency and lends his talents and time to promote Mother Hen Foundation as our creative adviser and trustee. When he’s not on his computer he’s on his bike.
